Ragnarok Guide

Start with Ragnarok Sign Quest main page. I provided some tips to make The Sign Quest experience less difficult for you.

Make sure that you have finished the Piano Keyboard Quest before proceeding. If you want to talk to a dead NPC, click their head.

1. Go to Prontera and talk to Metz. He’ll tell you to bring the Ancient document to Frank.

2. Bring a pair of glasses and talk to the Fastidious Old Man named Frank (alberta 165, 83) in Alberta. Give the glasses to him. In exchange you could ask him to Interpret Ancient Document. You could ask him the other two choices if you want to

3. Talk to him until he finishes writing the translation. You’ll receive Translated Ancient Language.

4. Go to the west of Geffen in the telescope area (gef_fild07 178,244) Bring Resin x 4, Stone Heart x 12 and Coral Reef x 365 to activate the secret entrance. Once you stepped on one of the logs (gef_fild07 182 241) , you’ll be warped in Valkyrie temple

5. Walk straight and talk to Valkyrie named Sandra (himinn 48 85). After speaking to her, she warped you to to Geffen.

6. Return to Metz and he’ll refer you to go to the City of the Dead – Niflheim. You could go there through the Umbala Bungee Jumping.

7. The Piano Keys Quest must be finished in order to continue. Talk to the Pleasant Featured Lady Serin (niflheim 313 70) in Niflheim. Answer Sure, go ahead and then Sure, let’s do it. She’ll then asks you to help the unfortunate souls. Your next answer will determine your next step in the sign quest.

If you answer:

a. Sure, why not? Longer quest You’ll receive Serin Gold Ring and some experience

I chose this one. Why? For adventure and the experience reward. Besides, you will need Serin’s gold ring in Ragnarok The Sign Quest Part 6: Kirkina the Witch

b. Why should I help them? Shorter quest but no experience and gold ring

Perfect for those who just want the sign quest to be over with.
