Ragnarok Guide

If you have read my Tips on how to get rich in Ragnarok post, you’ll know by now that having a forger could make you millions of zeny. It personally worked for me! Making a forger is not that easy. You will need the help of the others to level your pure forger. Do not start making one if you have no keen desire to level it until 85-95. Also, if there is still a high demand of elemental weapons in your server. This guide is dedicated to my Ragnarok friends who helped my forger to level especially when my character is just a merchant. To Vash and the rest of Bandidos guild, this is for you.

Ragnarok Pure forger’s stat

The forging success is based on dex and luk of your blacksmith. Concentrate only in these stats to maximize your forger. Balance your stat between these two. Take advantage of the priest buffs when you forge
Leveling your Ragnarok pure forger

If you are still a merchant, you can ask your friends to tank you. Payon Forest where Elder Willows are is a good place. Just buy yourself an ice weapon and use counter accessories to maximize your luck. I also party with them in Byalan island. When you reach the base level of 45, have your merchant leech on someone else. Gh prison and Louyang Dungeon is a good place. Continue to level in these places until you become a blacksmith. If you and your leecher is already high leveled, you can go to the clock tower or turtle island.

The best level to start forging

The safest level to start forging would be at level 75 but you can start as soon as you get the skills. I have a 3/5 rate in this level when I forge non-VVS weapon. At level 85, I am already making hundred million zennies with my forger especially during modified exp rate in our server.

Forging formula: 15 + Job lvl * 0.35 + LUK * 0.1 + DEX * 0.1 + skill level

What to forge

You should be aware with your market. Daggers are usually the fast seller products.

Be also aware of the cost of the forging materials. Forge weapons that have a high return of investment. I started with elemental fist and then with daggers and some level 1-2 weapons like main gauche, stilleto and katana.

Gathering the materials

I buy materials in the morning and then vend my forged weapons in the afternoon. I set my own price. If most of my weapons are sold, I buy materials again at night. To save me time, I also buy materials that are on vend even though they price is much higher

The Competition

Cooperate with other forgers and befriend them. You should all agree and set the standard price for all the elemental weapons. In this way, the forging business wouldn’t go down. This will also gives a chance for the forgers who are just starting.

Be kind and accommodation to your customers. Accept orders and give them discounts if the buy in bundle.

Purchase a Mini Furnace in the Geffen Blacksmith Guild.

• Flame Heart - 1 Mini Furnace + 10 Red Blood
• Great Nature – 1 Mini Furnace + 10 Green Live
• Mystic Frozen – 1 Mini Furnace + 10 Crystal Blue
• Rough Wind – 1 Mini Furnace + 10 Wind of Verdure
• Star Crumb - 1 Mini Furnace + 10 Star Dust
• Iron - 1 Mini Furnace + 1 Iron Ore
• Steel - 1 Mini Furnace + 5 Iron + 1 Coal

Elemental Weapons

You need the necessary hammer in order to forge. Click the hammer then choose what weapon you want to forger. Drag the star crumbs and the elements(flame heart, mystic frozen, rough wind and great nature) into the window and then click ok to forge the weapons. Every star crumb adds +5 atk, you can add up to two star crumbs. These would be called Very Very Strong element weapons.

Level 1 weapons = Iron Hammer
Level 2 weapons = Golden Hammer
Level 3 weapons = Oridecon HammerHammers have no effect in your ragnarok forging success rate.
