The knight job change quest starts in the upper left part of Prontera town where the Knight Guild is. You must be at least job level 40 in order to change into a Knight.

Ragnarok Knight Job Change Quest

1. Go inside the building and talk to Prontera Knight Master named Chief Hermann (prt_in 88, 101). Sign up for the job change quest. If you sign up for the knight job change quest and your job level is less than 50, he’ll refer you to talk to the Knight Andrew. Otherwise, go directly to Knight James (step 4).

2. Talk to the Diligent Knight named Andrew (prt_in 75, 107). Your first task is to collect items. There are two possible item sets. After you give Knight Andrew these items, talk to Chief Hermann again.

Set 1:

• Elder Pixie’s Moustache x 5
• Wing of Red Bat x 5
• Orcish Voucher x 5
• Moth Dust x 5
• Reptile Tongue x 5
• Mane x 5

Set 2:

• Bug Leg x 5
• Heart of Mermaid x 5
• Snail’s Shell x 5
• Clam Flesh x 5
• Old Frying Pan x 5
• Maneater Blossom x 5

3. Talk to Captain Hermann and he’ll refer you to Knight James.
4. Talk to the Honorable Knight named James (prt_in 71, 91). You have to get 8 out of 8 in this part of the job change quest. The questions are:

1. Can you tell me which of these swords is NOT a two handed sword? Flamberge
2. What skill listed below is NOT used for attacking an opponent? Endure Lv.10
3. What spear skill below uses the MOST sp? Spear Stab
4. Which of the elements below is strongest against Dark/Undead monsters? Holy
5. What percentage of your attack speed is regained by learning level 3 cavalry mastery? 80%
6. If you run into a novice and he asks you to tank for him because he’s to lazy to fight on his own, you should…. Tell the novice a good place to train
7. If you’re in a party and your party gets attacked, what would you do? Stay in front and protect everyone.
8. What do you think is most important to a Knight? Honor

5. Talk to Chief Hermann again. He will direct you to the Knight of Marshall Arts .

6. Ragnarok Knight Windser (prt_in 79, 94) would test your ability. He will warped you in a room filled with monsters. There are three rooms. You need to slay all the monsters in the room within 3 minutes in order to proceed to the next one. If you fail this part of the knight job quest, talk to Knight Windser to retry. Once you succeed, talk to Knight Windser and he’ll refer you to talk to Captain Herman again.

7. The first room is filled with insect monsters. It would be easier to kill these monsters if your weapon is compounded with Caramel Cards. The monsters are:

• Dustiness x 4
• Piere x 2
• Deniro x 2
• Andre x 2
• Argos x 2

8. The next is filled with brute monsters. It would be easier to kill these monsters if your weapon is compounded with Goblin Cards. The monsters are:

• Frilldora x 2
• Desert Wolf x 2
• Drainliar x 4
• Anacondaq x 4

9. The third is filled with demi-human monsters (goblins). It would be easier to kill these monsters if your weapon is compounded with Hydra Cards. The monsters in the rooms are:

• Goblin Axe x 1
• Goblin Dagger x 1
• Goblin Flail x 1
• Goblin Mace x 1
• Goblin Morning Star x 1
• Goblin Archer x 1
• Steam Goblin / Goblin Steamrider x 1

10. Talk to Chief Hermann and he’ll refer you to the Courteous Knight Amy.

11. Talk to Ragnarok Knight Amy (prt_in 69, 107) and you need to answer 8 out of her 10 questions to pass this job change quest part. There are 2 possible answers on some of her questions.

• Let’s say your in Morroc and you want to recruit a party member. What would you do? Make a chatroom and wait. or Ask if anyone wants to party with a Knight.

• You’re in a party with a hunter, a priest, a wizard, a blacksmith, and an assassin. The six of you decide to train in the Pyramids. Your party makes it to the fourth floor of the pyramid, what will you do now? Scout ahead and make sure it’s safe for all or Stay in front of the party and move slowly

• A lame-o guy creates a mob right in front of your party and disappears. What would you do? Look after your partners or Fight hard and help when needed

• Somehow you beat the mob. Your party then journeys on and you stumble upon someone who has fainted. This guy begs you to help him, what will you do? Ask the priest in your party to help.

• You guys have to go to different places so you guys seperate yourselves into smaller groups. During your previous battles, a monster dropped a very valuable item that you picked up. What do you do with it? Give it to the person that deserves it the most. or Discuss it with the others.

• You decide to go back to Prontera and sell some of the valuble items you picked up. On the road, you see a lot of chatrooms. What would be the best way to sell them? Create a chatroom to advertise the items. or Go around looking for someone that needs them.

• Someone comes up to you and begs you for money. What would you do? Tell him a place where its suitable for him to earn money.

• Now your alone and training in a forest. You are happily riding a pecopeco. You run into somone who’s lost. What do you do? Tell her where the exit is. or Bring her to the exit.

• You’re still in the forest but now your busy fighting monsters. You realize that you’ve run out of healing items and your health is very low. Suddenly a priest appears! What would you do? Would you please heal me. I’ll share the drops with you.

• Your getting tired so you decide to head back to town. On the road back to town, you see a very valuable object. What will you do? Ask around to see if anyone dropped it. or Leave it there.

12. Talk to Chief Hermann again and he’ll refer you to the Pious Knight as the next part of the job change quest.

13. Talk to Pious Knight named Edmund (prt_in 70, 99). This part of the Knight Job Change is the same as step no 6 but you must not kill or hit any monsters in this room. This part of the quest would last in 4 minutes. In some servers, you can provoke these monsters. After the 4 minutes have lapse, you’ll be warped out of the room. Talk to Knight Edmund again.

14. Talk to Chief Hermann and he will refer you to the Ragnarok Modest Knight

15. Talk to Modest Knight named Gray (prt_in 87, 90) and he’ll ask you questions. You can answer all his questions based on modesty.

16. Talk to Chief Hermann again to end your knight job change quest . He will change you into a knight. You will get 3 Awakening Potions if your job level is below 50 and 7 Awakening Potions if it is 50. Congratulations! You are finished with the Ragnarok Knight Job Change Quest
