Ragnarok Guide

The Ragnarok How the Airship Works Quest requires items that are rare and hard to find. I suggest for you to buy these items or hunt them because the monster respawn in the Airship is random. Luckily, I already have 2 Prickly Fruits and 1 Will of Darkness. I planned on buying one when I saw a Will of Darkness along the streets of Prontera. So I grabbed the opportunity to start the Airship Quest saga starting with the How the Airship Works Quest. Besides, it’s a good reason to take lots of screen shots with my headgear, the Captain Hat.

Ragnarok Airship Quest Item Requirements:

• Prickly Fruit x 2
• Will of the Darkness x2

Ragnarok Airship Quest Base Level Requirement: 60

Ragnarok Airship Quest Rewards:

• Base Experience – 200,000
• Job Experience – 10,000
• You can now do the Heart Fragment Quest

Ragnarok How the Airship Works Quest

1. Take the Airship located in Izlude.

2. Talk to the Captain of the Airship named Tarlock (airplane_01 238 154). He’s inside the upper left deck. Ask him how the airship works. Talk to him once more and he’ll tell you the secret if you’ll help him. He says that he has a brother who is the Captain of the International Ragnarok Airship. He’ll ask you to bring a letter to his brother.

3. Go down the Ragnarok Airship in Juno and click the International Boarding NPC

4. The Captain of the Internation Ragnarok airship is also at the upper left desk. There’s an obvious resemblance. Haha! Give the letter to Ferlock (airplane 236 163). The letter says that you’ll give him the items Tarlock has borrowed from him. The items are 2 Prickly Fruits and 2 Will of Darkness.

5. If you don’t have the items with you,go back to the Juno-Izlude Ragnarok airship and wait for the announcement that the ship is under attacked. This is random, chances are monsters may not attacked the ship for days. It would be best if you’ll buy these items or hunt them in the Rachel Sanctuary. Will of Darkness is dropped by Gremlin and Prickly Fruit is dropped by Beholder.

6. Give the items to Farlock. He’ll write a letter of reply to his brother.

7. Give the letter back to Tarlock. Talk to him until he finishes reading the letter. After reading the letter, he’ll tell you the secret on how the airship works. You’ll get some base experience and job experience as reward.
