You see, I already have the Ragnarok database on board in ragnarok-guide.com. The database is a bit messed up. I’m trying my best to work as quickly as possible.The following features are still missing:

Item Database:

  • Most of the items have no description
  • Most of the items have no images
  • No required job yet
  • The search feature only allows you to search by item name

Monster Database:

  • The monster drops are messed up
  • No images at all
  • No map location of monsters
  • The search features only allows you to search by monster name

Map Database:

  • Zero

I’m giving myself up to end of July in order to finish all the database. This is my first time to write an application in php. I’m having a hard time in the database because I don’t know where to find all the images and descriptions. If only I could have them, then I could finish this sooner. I’ve been busy with my work and studies and I’m going to take a certification examination soon. No worries, I still have this site.

On the comments, if you’ve noticed, I rarely reply unless they are very important questions. Because I feel like I’ve answered the question over and over again and the reader just didn’t look. I’ve noticed that a lot has been copying my guides into their site and don’t even have a backlink here. I would appreciate it if you haven’t done so and the contents of my site are copyrighted and protected by Creative Commons.

I was thinking if I will set up a forum for Ragnarok Guide. Maintaining a forum is a huge responsibility and it will take too much of my time. Let me know what you think or if there are forum moderators who are willing to help me maintain it and build the community!

I’ve also bring in private advertisers for my site. Maintaining this ragnarok-guide.com is expensive, most especially now that I have a Ragnarok database. It’s only half a month and yet I already consumed three fourth of my site’s allocated bandwidth. So I have to upgrade my hosting services (bandwidth and disk space) yet again :( I’ve added a Chip In widget on my sidebar for those who wishes to donate.
